Before you start

Use Chrome or Edge on a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux). Safari and Firefox can't do this.
Connect the tablet to the computer with a USB-C data cable and leave it powered on.
Close any other program that might be using the tablet's USB connection.

Click the button, pick the tablet's port from the list, then choose Install.

This browser can't update the tablet. Please open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer. This page must be opened over https:// to talk to the tablet.

While it installs

It takes two to three minutes (the update now includes the tablet's web page). Don't unplug the cable or close this page until it says it's finished.
The tablet restarts by itself when it's done. Your saved settings stay as they are.
Afterwards, on a computer joined to the BLUECARVE WiFi, http://192.168.0.2 shows the tablet's page: Send a file · Tools (surfacing, DXF with tabs, V-carve, nesting, laser image, 3D relief, checker, feeds & speeds) · Manual.

The tablet isn't in the port list, or it fails

Try a different USB cable. Some cables only charge and carry no data.
Try a different USB port on the computer, and avoid USB hubs.
On Windows, if no port shows up at all, the tablet's USB driver may need installing (look for "CH340" or "CP210x" driver).
If the update stops part-way, just unplug, reconnect and run it again. It is safe to repeat.
